Code of Conduct

ATTENTION ALL BDL PARENTS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS

BDL is an ALL VOLUNTEER LEAGUE. The Coaches, Referees, Snack Shack Helpers, and Scoreboard Keepers dedicate their time without compensation. They are giving up their time to make BDL a successful league. As stated when you first signed up for BDL, we have a Code of Conduct policy that we expect everyone to adhere to.

Code of Conduct

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, including mistreatment of referees and coaches, as well as the use of foul language will not be tolerated. BDL reserves the right to terminate or suspend any player's participation in the league due to unsportsmanlike conduct, misconduct, or otherwise not adhering to the rules of the game. For players in the
Junior or Senior Division, unexcused absences from practice may result in reduced playing time. Parents are
expected to be courteous and supportive of participants at the games, including coaches, players, referees, and scoreboard keepers. Coaches, players, referees, volunteers and scoreboard keepers should be able to conduct the practices and games free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures from attendees to the practices and games including but not limited to parents of players, players and guests.

  • Andrew Hill High School is a smoke free campus, so we ask you to please not smoke on school grounds, as it is a violation of school rules.

  • Parents, we encourage you to watch your children during games and practices. If you cannot stay, we ask that you please drop them off to the gym, and pick them up at the gym only. Please do not have them wait in the parking lot unsupervised, as it is a safety concern.

We are always looking for VOLUNTEERS. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up at the Snack Shack 15 minutes before a game.
